1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Oppivo (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Oppivo. Questions: hello@oppivo.io.

2. The Service

Oppivo is an AI-powered competitive intelligence briefing service. We aggregate publicly available news and web content, process it with AI, and deliver personalized summaries to subscribers via email. Briefings are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information when signing up.
One person per account. You may not share your account credentials.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue receiving briefings.
Paid plans: Subscriptions are billed monthly. Prices are shown on the billing page. All prices are in USD.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from the billing page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days notice before increasing prices on your current plan.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or reproduce the Service or its outputs at scale.
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.
Use automated means to bulk-generate briefings beyond normal individual use.

6. Intellectual property

The Oppivo platform, brand, and software are owned by us. The briefing content we generate for you is yours to use for your own business purposes. We retain the right to use anonymised, aggregated insights to improve the Service.

7. Disclaimers

Briefings are generated by AI from publicly available sources and may contain inaccuracies. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any briefing content. Always verify important information independently before acting on it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oppivo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability to you in any month is capped at the amount you paid us in that month.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@oppivo.io.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Santa Clara County, California, except where prohibited by law.
